Which class should I choose?
We offer many styles of yoga, some with more emphasis on alignment and yoga therapy, others with more emphasis on dynamic flow and the breath. Others combine aspects of both. Please go to the teacher's page and read their corresponding class descriptions for help deciding which class would be best for you. Feel free to contact the teachers with more questions or the studio manager, Michele@theyogaspace.com for additional questions and advice in choosing a class to fit your needs. There are as many styles of yoga as there are teachers. We encourage you to try a number of teachers until you find one that you resonate with.

When you come to class
Wear comfortable clothing. We ask you be mindful of other students by not wearing perfume or other fragrance. Traditionally yoga is practiced on an empty stomach, 1-2 hours after a light snack and 3-4 hours after a heavy meal. Drink plenty of water before hand, as it is usually not drank or at least limited during practice. Advise the teacher if you have any preexisting or current injuries or if you are pregnant. Bring your own Yoga mat if you have one. We have studio mats and many props available for you to use as well.

Come with an open mind and an open heart. We are a place to breathe deeply, nourish your body, gather with community, while awakening your spirit.
